Born to loving parents and thriving in a vast Pack, Aodhan Kingsley (pronounced as A-den) was but one of many kids in the Pack. If he'd had siblings beforehand he cannot remember; in fact much of his youth is a blur.

At the age of eleven he found himself snatched on his way home from school and thrust into a cold concrete room—a sort of facility that was experimenting on many supernatural beings.

Days stretch into weeks...months...years. He found himself forgetting the small details of his life beforehand, used for his vastly superior regenerative properties, they later kept him around when he demonstrated Alpha tendencies.

Entered into the breeding programme, he found himself in an endless cycle of being starved for company, never allowed to get close enough to another wolf unless they induced hormones in the two participants.

Unlucky for the facility that held him captive, they didn't count on a Wolf and Vampire to work together. Between his times of torture and thrown into the deepest hole near someone he would later call a friend, Aodhan found the most unlikely of encouragement and strength in Giovanni Moretti. An ancient vampire of Romany roots; they cooked together a plan and perfectly executed it.

Any collateral damage was deemed necessary; another year and Aodhan would have lost what little of his mind he'd maintained.

At the age of eighteen he felt too damaged to return home. He pledged his service to Giovanni's Coven; a life debt that he owed him.

Taking pity on him, Giovanni agreed to keep him close, teach him all that he'd missed and build up his strength. In return he had to dedicate twelve years of his life to his family. No questions asked. Just protect them with his life, and he would want for nothing.

Accept company.

Already so starved of the company of Pack and usual friendships and relationships that a young man would explore, he found himself seeking thrills—dangerous ones. A dalliance with a vampire gave him his first heart-break; since then he has lived in service to Giovanni and his Sired children, on the fringes of the Coven that have accepted the one Wolf into their midst.

Waiting for his last year and a half of service to be finished, Aodhan looks forward to his future—what will it be like without the guidance of the softly spoken Vampire that he'd befriended all them years ago?

His family moved on, and though he keeps tabs on them he's not found the strength to return to them. What he seeks instead is to find his own—a Pack of his own.

For in the Pack there is strength. Even Vampires have family, he's come to realise.

➥ He is pansexual; he finds a connection with a person, and he will act accordingly. Some people he clicks instantly, that's either the Wolf wanting to charge ahead, or he himself is intrigued. He isn't the sort to just pounce on someone instantaneous, he's had years of things being out of his control. That being said, hormones can race and he isn't adverse to surrendering to them. I'm down for smut with some decent lead up in our writing!
